eCommerce Expo London

AI in commerceRepeat invitationsHeadline Stage
The brief

eCommerce Expo London needed a Headline Stage keynote that would move ecommerce leaders from scattered AI experiments toward measurable growth, stronger conversion and better customer decisions. The programme also placed Karl on the eCommerce Clinic Live panel and in the VIP Speaker Lounge meet and greet.

What Karl did

Karl delivered From AI Experiments to Commerce Advantage: The Operating Model That Makes AI Convert Your Visitors, built around the operating model behind AI rather than the tools. On the eCommerce Clinic Live panel he took on AI driven growth, digital transformation, customer trust and agentic AI. The session continued a relationship with the event that began with a main stage keynote on the future of ecommerce in 2022 and an AI keynote stage session in 2023.

The result

Across three editions the relationship moved from the 2022 main stage, where the official recap described Karl taking a jam packed theatre through the future of ecommerce, to the 2023 keynote stage and the 2026 Headline Stage. The content evolved with each invitation, from the future of ecommerce to AI and then to the operating model that makes AI convert.

“Karl was a fantastic speaker with a great presence, packing out the room with an attendance of over 90% capacity.”Sam Tidmarsh, CloserStill Media, eCommerce Expo London

TEDxStagecraftClarity
The brief

The organizers needed a talk that would deliver real insight inside the short, tightly timed TEDx format. A strong idea had to survive compression and still leave the audience with something to use.

What Karl did

Karl gave Training Your Subconscious Mind for Entrepreneurial Success, a talk on challenging yourself, influencing the subconscious, working smart and making better use of mental energy. He has described TEDx as demanding tighter scripting, time discipline and rehearsal than a conventional keynote, and the talk was built for exactly that constraint.

The result

Organizer Dominika Mikurenda described Karl as an engaging speaker whose passion was highly noticeable, and said attendees gained a fresh perspective and valuable insight in just 15 minutes. She also said she would recommend him to other conferences.

“Karl is an engaging keynote speaker who caught attention and interest of the audience. His passion for the subject matter is highly noticeable, in just 15 minutes, attendees gained a fresh perspective and valuable insight.”Dominika Mikurenda, TEDxPiotrkowskaStreet

Speaker Series: AI and Our Minds of the Future

Responsible AIEducationMixed audience
The brief

The college wanted its Speaker Series session on the impact of artificial intelligence to make AI understandable, useful and responsible for a mixed audience. AI can quickly feel abstract, technical or intimidating to people outside a specialist technology crowd.

What Karl did

Karl presented AI and Our Minds of the Future, showing how AI can make everyday tasks quicker and smoother and help people get more done. He paired the practical examples with a clear responsibility message: information generated by AI should be checked, not accepted blindly. He worked closely with the college team so the content fit the people in the room.

The result

In feedback published by Great British Speakers, Associate Vice President Jan Lloyd Lesley describes Karl as accessible and accommodating and says he worked closely with the college team. The same feedback says he made the AI content relevant, impactful, enlightening and personalized.

Tailored ecommerce and retail workshops

WorkshopTailored contentEngagement
The brief

Digital University needed ecommerce and retail workshops that went beyond generic content. Each session had to fit the specific client it was delivered for.

What Karl did

Karl prepared carefully for each workshop and explored the topic in depth before delivery. Every workshop was tailor made for the particular client, so participants worked on their own reality instead of standard material.

The result

According to Ewa Lankiewicz of Digital University, participants thanked the organizers for a tremendous lesson. The discussion was engaged enough that participants did not want it to end.

The brief

TEKsystems, which had worked with Karl before, invited him as guest speaker on the future of ecommerce at one of its events. The talk needed to hold the interest of a broader group, not only ecommerce specialists.

What Karl did

Karl spoke about the future of ecommerce and widened the lens with entrepreneurship and innovation. That connection made a specialist topic interesting for the whole room.
